How to install and set up eSIM on Android?

The steps below work for most Android devices (the exact path may vary by brand):

Make sure your device supports eSIM and is connected to Wi‑Fi.

• Open Settings → go to Network & internet (or "Mobile network").
• Find the SIMs or Mobile network section, then tap + Add mobile network or Add eSIM.
• When prompted with "No SIM card?", tap Next.
• Use your phone's camera to scan the eSIM QR code provided by your carrier.
• Once scanned, the eSIM profile will be downloaded and installed automatically.
• Go back to Mobile network settings and select the eSIM you just added.
• Turn on Mobile data.
• If you're traveling abroad, turn on Data roaming.
• To avoid roaming charges on your primary SIM, you can temporarily turn off your main SIM.
