When can I reuse the same eSIM/an existing eSIM?
Yes, you can reuse an eSIM that's already installed on your device, provided two conditions are met:
- The eSIM is still valid (not expired), and you've purchased a new data plan for it.
- You are located within the coverage area of the new plan.
How to reuse your eSIM
- When purchasing a new plan, select "Use existing eSIM" and choose the ICCID of the eSIM you want to reuse.
- Once you arrive in the coverage area, the eSIM will automatically activate—no extra steps needed.
- eSIMs typically remain valid for 2 years. Each time you purchase a new plan, the validity period will be extended by another 2 years.
- If your eSIM has expired, you can delete it to free up space on your device.
Important note
- You can only reuse an eSIM if it is still installed on your device.
- If you previously removed the eSIM, it cannot be reinstalled and you will need to purchase a new one.
