How do I manage data usage on an iOS device?

iOS does not have a built‑in "auto‑disconnect when data limit is reached" feature, but you can monitor data usage through the Cellular settings. Follow these steps:

• Go to Settings → Cellular (or Mobile Data in some regions) to view your total data usage for the month and the breakdown by app.
• Scroll to the bottom, tap Cellular Data Usage → Reset Statistics. We recommend resetting on the same day your eSIM plan starts for accurate monitoring.
• Disable Wi‑Fi Assist and iCloud Backup: Go to Settings → Cellular or Mobile Data → Scroll down and turn off Wi‑Fi Assist and iCloud Backup.
