How can I check which eSIM is currently being used for data?
You can check directly in your device's SIM management settings. Below are the steps for iOS and most Android devices. When multiple eSIMs are installed, the data line will be clearly labeled.
iOS Devices
- Go to Settings → Cellular (or Mobile Data in some regions);
- At the top of the page, Cellular Data will show the number or eSIM label currently used for internet access;
If you have multiple eSIMs installed, all active plans will appear in the list, making it easy to see which one is your data line.
Android Devices
General Android (non‑Samsung)
- Go to Settings → Network & Internet
- Tap Mobile Network
- The page will show your current data SIM and its custom label
Samsung Galaxy
- Go to Settings → Connections
- Tap SIM Card Manager
- Scroll down to Preferred SIM card and check which eSIM is selected under Mobile data
Useful Tips
- Give your eSIM a clear, easy‑to‑recognize label (such as "Europe Travel Data") so you don't need to check extra details;
- On some Android devices, long‑press the Mobile Data icon in the quick settings menu to go directly to the data SIM selection page for quick checking or switching.
