How do I check if my Android device supports eSIM?
Whether an Android device supports eSIM depends on hardware, manufacturer settings, and carrier restrictions. You can check with these steps:
Samsung Galaxy:
- Open Settings → tap Connections
- Go to SIM Card Manager
- If you see “Add eSIM”, your device supports eSIM.

Google Pixel:
- Open Settings → tap Network & internet
- Find the SIMs section and tap the + button
- If you see “Add eSIM” or “Change to download SIM?”, your device supports eSIM.
Other Android models (Huawei / Xiaomi / OPPO, etc.):
- Open your phone’s dialer, Enter *#06# and press call
- In the list of device IDs, look for an EID.
- If you see an EID, your device has eSIM hardware.
Note: Having an EID doesn’t always mean you can use eSIM, as some regions or carriers may block it.
