Can I reinstall an eSIM?

You can only recover an eSIM on the original device where it was first installed. Recovery depends on whether the plan is still valid.

If your plan is still active (not expired)

  • Go to Home → eSIM → Select Reinstall eSIM and scan the QR code again
  • If you don't have the QR code, contact support to get it

If your plan has expired

  • You can still recover the eSIM, but you need to purchase a new data plan first
  • During purchase, select Use existing eSIM and choose the ICCID of the eSIM you want to reuse
  • Once the new plan is activated, the eSIM will be restored on your device

Important restrictions

  • An activated eSIM cannot be installed on another device.

If you plan to use the eSIM long-term, We recommend disabling the eSIM instead of deleting it. Disabling keeps the eSIM profile on your device, so you can re-enable it anytime.

  • eSIMs are typically valid for 2 years
  • Activating a new plan extends the validity by another 2 years

How to disable an eSIM (without deleting it)

iOS

  • Go to Settings → Cellular
  • Select the eSIM you want to disable
  • Toggle off Enable This Line

Android

  • Go to Settings → SIM cards & mobile networks
  • Select Manage eSIMs
  • Choose the eSIM and tap Disable mobile plan
